Mario's Chile

1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 large chopped onion
6 large garlic cloves, minced
2 medium jalapenos, minced
2 lbs ground sirloin
3 Tablespoons chili powder (adjust 2-4, according to personal taste)
1 Tablespoon Salt
pepper to taste
1 16oz can diced tomatoes. I used fresh tomatoes.
2 cups chicken broth
2 Teaspoons Mario's Sauce
(alternatively favorite abaro chile sauce)
1 22 oz. lunchmeat container of already prepared Drunken Beans
(alternatively, a can of pinto beans)

Cooking Instructions:

Heat oil in heavy saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic.
Saute about 8 minutes or until onions are translucent. Add ground sirloin
breaking up meat with a spatula as it cooks. Add chili powder, salt, pepper,
and jalapenos to the meat and onions and cook until brown.

Add contents of frying pan, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth to crockpot and
cook on high about 2 hours. Add beans, and cook on low for another hour. Taste,
and adjust salt and Mario's sauce to taste. Keep warm, serve when ready.
